FromHere packaging project

An NGO called Endeva in Berlin commissioned me to design the food packaging of a new range of nut and flour products under the brand 'FromHere', to be sold in Rwanda. The products to be on sale (macadamia nuts, peanuts and flour) are all grown by Rwandan farmers, however they were experiencing the problem that the local people preferred buying imported goods.

The idea behind the food packaging was to create a label that was attractive to customers by celebrating the best of what Rwanda has to offer through the design. I worked closely with the team at Endeva to develop the design, which features the regal sunbird (a beautiful colourful bird), traditional woven peace baskets, the Karisimbi volcano amongst many other natural beauties to be found in Rwanda.
